 Entangled in a beautiful complexity,
...he was intrigued by my air of mystery.
Perplexed.
His world shaken by love,
a natural disaster unknown to him.
An enigma, at a loss for words
and without explanation...
I quickly became his addiction.
An opiate, the relapse to his sobriety...
and one that no rehab could obliterate,

...but i am not her.

She is predictability in its simplest form.
the sweetest taste of boredom,
as exciting as monotony.

...i am not her.

She is insensitive, selfish and self centered,
authoritarian, commanding, controlling

...i am not her.

I am your compliment
your biggest cheerleader,
...shouting words of encouragement.
Supporting and reassuring.
The calm after the storm...
your backbone
but it was never enough

No...i am not her.

I am unstoppable,
through the trials and tribulations...through the clouds and rainy days
I remain strong like the wind before the storm....

I am a mountain
weathered but unmovableAnchored to my faith.

I am strong...

I am a warrior, a soldier

Fighting the battles of my mind, body and soul.

Strength in the presence of chaos.

I am determined...
Laughing in the face of fear.

I will not give up.
Letting go is not an option.
I chose life, I chose to fight.

I am a phoenix...
reborn from ashes
ready to live again...
determination burning all fears....
destroying all insecurities.

I am a woman...
a fighter...
a chameleon.
Adapting to changes...
I am not afraid
I am...undefeated.
I will not lose.

Moon Landing Hoax

So i truly believe the whole N.A.S.A. moon landing is a hoax. But I'm open to valid argument and evidence. Below you will find part one of a documentary that i found very interesting.

Listen, before u go all crazy on me...everyone is entitled to believe what they want right? I am not ignorant and i am more than open to see/read anything that further proves my conclusion or pushes AWAY from it...Enjoy!

Poetry EVENT

The event was created as a way to raise money for my Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk team Maggie's Latin Angels and as a showcase for some of the hottest NY performance artists to show their stuff.

THERE WILL BE A SILENT AUCTION OF VARIOUS VISUAL ART AND GOODIES AND A RAFFLE (RAFFLE TICKETS WILL BE $2 EACH), SO COME PREPARED TO WIN. [AS IN BRING MONEY...LMAO]

This year being held as an afternoon event.... there is a FULL menu of food, wine and beer at Society. Every drink you purchase at Society, a dollar of that purchase will go towards the cause.

AND WHAT'S BETTER? AFTER THE SHOW, THERE'S A HAPPY HOUR BEING SPONSORED BY 67 ORANGE STREET (WHICH IS JUST ONE BLOCK AWAY) from 6pm -8pm.

AFTER THAT, THE NIGHT IS OURS!!!!
