Pieces of Me

Im upset at myself for even foretelling my downfall...but i cant take it.

I'm fighting the Battle of Thermopylae... just me and my 300 men against the Persian Empire except there are no 300 men.
im scared [[panic]],
my heart is beating really fast...i cant afford to fail or fall because now i have her and she needs me. The whole world can crumble at my feet and her smile makes it all worth it.
I am her hero and she needs me...
[[SEE my frustration?]]
To her i am a warrior, spear in hand...ready to attack any harm that comes to her.
She expects this of me...no matter what.
She doesnt know that mommy is a mess and that mommy struggles..."
